Soundbites is a popular breakfast destination for those willing to wait in long lines. They recently bought out a take-out barbecue restaurant across the street so their strange menu now includes wings, ribs and burgers. 08/18/07 - Soundbites has moved next door to a larger location which was formerly el guapo. They have a full bar and are open for dinner.
Victor's Deli in Ball Square
Victor's is a great family run Italian restaurant. Great sandwiches, soup, and specials. Closes early, a great place for lunch.
True Grounds in Ball Square
A local coffee shop and cafe. Awesome coffee, salads, and sandwiches, which are named after the streets in the surrounding neighborhood. Friendly atmosphere and free wi-fi, which is convenient but makes it hard to get a table and it sometimes feels like a library.
Urban Gourmet in Ball Square
New gourmet pizza, burgers, wings, and sandwiches restaurant opening in December 2008. There will be something for everyone. I will update as some as I know more. The owner promises Good Food, a Good Vice and No Fighting for every one.
